HAM the Illustrator is a London-based freelance illustrator, Designer and creative strategist whose work is heavily influenced by the hip-hop and cultural movements that defined his youth. His partnerships with leading brands such as Nike, MTV, Warner, and Adidas have brought him international acclaim and led to his nomination as one of the BIMA Top 100 CREATIVES AND DESIGNERS in 2023.

After obtaining an Architecture degree from the University of Newcastle in 2015, HAM broadened his expertise in music production and sound engineering in both London and Los Angeles before transitioning to full-time freelance work in 2018. He has since directed major projects, including the "Munkination: A Second Chance" VR/AR prototype in partnership with the Royal Opera House from 2019 to 2021, and the "Ancestral Futures" collection for Caerbladdon and the British Council in 2023. In 2024, he extended his social impact work further, contributing to Lambeth Council's Violence Against Women and Girls initiative before spearheading the merch designs for both Wingstop and Solana's SuperTeam UK.

In 2022, HAM served as Head of Community for hundo, a £2M backed Web3 Edtech company, where he revitalised the company’s marketing and

community strategies. This role involved planning and strategising their flagship CareerCon conference and securing key brand partnerships. During his time there he also represented hundo as a keynote speaker, discussing Tech, Web3, and the future of education at prominent national conferences like YMS and One Young World.

Alongside his technical proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, Figma, Logic Pro, and Ableton, HAM is adept in a range of professional skills including project management, client liaison, marketing, and creative strategy. These skills have made him not only a versatile artist but also a strategic thinker capable of leading teams and projects that resonate culturally and drive dialogue. His ongoing commitment to innovation and cultural engagement keeps his work at the forefront of the creative industry.
