HAM began his professional career as a freelance illustrator in 2015, designing album art and promotional art for emerging local bands and artists before being approached by labels JOAT Records, Warner Music Group, and Sony Music for future projects.
In 2017, Highlight Nation commissioned HAM to produce four distinct portraits of legendary American musician Tupac Shakur for their "2Pac Changes" exhibition honouring his life and legacy. This early recognition helped him establish himself as a rising artist in the art world.
In 2019, HAM got international attention when MTV licensed his homage to the late rapper Cadet for their show Yo! MTV Raps. Later that year, Nike commissioned him to make artwork for the launch of their renowned Air Max 270 React Trainer. This led to further opportunities, with other global businesses like adidas trusting him to create artwork to celebrate the final of the British and Irish Lions Rugby Tour against South Africa in 2022.
HAM's forward-thinking approach to creative direction led to him working on ground-breaking projects. He earned the Immersive Opera Award in 2019 for his virtual reality trap opera concept, "Munkination," which he worked on for two years in partnership with the Royal Opera House. The project, which tackles issues of humanity and climate change, has embarked on a new adventure with Think Film Impact Productions.
In 2021, Sogaworld contacted HAM to assist Sony Music and Strawberries and Creem Festival in developing the world's first music festival NFTs, a one-of-a-kind superhero digital trading card collection of their best headliners for the year. That same year, HAM exhibited his ability as digital artist by reaching the quarterfinals of the IWS World Illustration Championships, where he competed against world-class graffiti and street artists, illustrators, and visual artists.
In 2023, HAM was nominated for the prestigious BIMA 100 for Creatives and Designers, an award recognising remarkable achievements and contributions to the UK digital industry. In the same year, he was selected for the British Council and Caerbladon's New Narratives program, which supports young African creatives and storytellers challenge stereotypes and promote new narratives about Africa and its people.
With an unyielding dedication to pushing boundaries, HAM pioneers a new era in visual art and creative direction. His visionary approach not only challenges the norms but also sets a precedent for embracing diversity, sparking a vibrant tapestry of artistic expression that leaves an unforgettable impact on the world.
